Remote Access to Licensed Library Resources
Many resources the libraries pay for (ex. online journals) are accessible off-campus through the below methods for Wayne State students, faculty, and staff.
- EZproxy
- Just try going to resource through the library website, it may just work, only requiring entering your WSU AccessID and password, the same one used for blackboard and pipeline.

- VPN
- School of Medicine users may use the SOM VPN, http://vpn.med.wayne.edu
- WSU employees may also try the WSU VPN, http://vpn.wayne.edu (instructions here)
- Traditional WSU Proxy server
- Requires configuring your web browser to use, but if the above two methods don't work, it is your best shot.
